Detailed description

Horizontal composition of a dimly lit forest scene: the female nude, diagonally stretching to the left and turned onto her back, is the main motif of the painting. Her body is supported by leopard skin and granite rocks, holding a red ribbon in her right hand; in the background, a dense mass of foliage in brown and green tones. To the right, a bearded satyr depicted with horns and a crown of ivy lurks, while in the foreground, clusters of grapes and a vessel refer to a Dionysian context. The skin surfaces are warm ochre-pink, while the environment is built up of deep reddish-brown and green tones, with strong light-shadow contrast. The brushwork is plastic, at times rough with pasty textures (trunk, foliage), while a finer glazing appears in the body modeling. In the lower right corner, a reddish-brown signature: 'Tardos Krenner Vict.' The theme and painting style follow a romantic-academic tradition, presumably created between the 1890s and 1910s. Medium: oil paint, likely cardboard/wood panel.
