Detailed description
The "kkk – Westminster" pendulum clock was made in the second half of the 20th century as a modern adaptation of the classic Viennese style. Its elegant, violin-shaped wooden casing and brass-edged dial were characteristic of mid-range export clock models. The mechanical movement, operated by the Westminster chime, represents the sophisticated line of contemporary Japanese watchmaking, which also reflects the influence of the Junghans and Odo brands. The piece has an aesthetic yet functional design and often adorned European and American homes in the 1970s.
