Detailed description

Presumably, a work by Josef Wenzel Süss (1857–1937), an Austrian painter who studied at the Vienna Academy. His son, Josef Heinrich Süss (1892–1961), was also a painter and was often mistaken for him. Süss's most well-known works depict Austrian and Central European genre scenes, including flower-selling girls, tavern scenes, and portraits of rabbis. One of his notable paintings is Frühlingszauber (Spring Enchantment), which portrays a woman sitting on a rock, surrounded by flowers.
