Detailed description
presumably Georg Fischhof (1859–1914) was an Austrian painter born and deceased in Vienna. He initially studied architecture, then continued his education at the Vienna School of Applied Arts under genre painter Friedrich Sturm, and later in Munich. Early in his career, he focused on replicating old tapestries; one of these works can be seen in the throne room of the Klosterneuburg Monastery. He often signed his works under various pseudonyms, such as Joh. Wagner, Tihay Beleg, or A. L. Terni. His paintings include portraits, seascapes, forest landscapes, and Italian cityscapes, characterized by a late Impressionist style and Mediterranean themes.
