Ávrahám Péter Rubint (1980–) is a Hungarian painter and multimedia artist, who is a prominent figure in contemporary visual arts. He began his career with painting, then turned towards video and performance art. His works combine traditional techniques with digital innovation.
In his paintings, the inner struggle and the dynamic play of colors dominate. His style is often characterized by the parallels of abstract and figurative elements. In his art, the tension between light and shadow, movement and stasis converges, providing a powerful visual experience.
Among his most well-known works are the Transparency series, where he examines the transparency of human existence through layered paint applications, as well as Echo, which comes to life as a video installation. His performance titled Spotlight engages the audience in exploring themes of presence and role-playing.
