Detailed description

Dezső Udvary (1891–1975) was a Hungarian painter born in Gyöngyöspata in 1891 and passed away in Budapest in 1975. He completed his artistic studies at the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts, where his mentors included Oszkár Glatz, János Vaszary, and István Réti. Throughout his career, he primarily painted portraits, landscapes, and genre scenes, regularly exhibiting his works at the National Salon and the Art Hall. His style was characterized by realism and impressionism, and his creations can also be found in the collection of the Hungarian National Gallery.
