Albert Carrier-Belleuse (1824–1887)

French bronze clock–candelabrum set, after the model of Albert Carrier-Belleuse, richly adorned with cherub and allegorical figures. The composition is from the 19th century, reflecting the master's late historicizing–neobaroque style, while the clock mechanism is a later, Paris-made replacement (Fabque Horlogerie, 1989). The fine bronze casting, the gilded details, and the proportional structure ensure high decorative and collectible value. The object is an authentic example of representative clock sculpture from the French decorative bronze industry.
