Three-piece French mantel clock set. In the center, a curved, richly chiseled ormolu (gilded bronze) case with a white enamel dial featuring blue Roman numerals and pierced gilded hands; the two adjusting openings refer to the Brocot system regulator. On either side, patinated bronze putti rest on a rocky pedestal. The contrast of dark brown patina and glowing gilding, the soft modeling, and the play of light and shadow showcase the refinement of 19th-century French bronze craftsmanship.
