Detailed description
The clock mechanism features the inscription "Médaille d'argent, Vincenti et Cie 1855", which corresponds to the initial date of the manufacturing series of the mechanism.
French mantle clock, with a gold ornamentation on the base, made using the Boulle technique, richly gilded with bronze figurative and botanical decorations. Its enamel dial is crafted with black Roman numerals, featuring a chiseled bronze dial field in the center, with a sculptural relief scene at the bottom, and the upper closure is emphasized by a dome-shaped form and an allegorical figure. Based on its design and decoration, it was made in the second half of the 19th century.
