Detailed description

András Balogh (1894-1958) was one of the most important Hungarian painters of the 20th century, whose work focused on the depiction of the Hungarian landscape, scenes of everyday life and human emotions. Both naturalistic and realistic elements can be observed in his painting, and his works often reflect the simplicity and beauty of Hungarian folk life. His paintings create a strong atmosphere, while he gladly experimented with the variety of colors and light and shadow effects.

András Balogh's paintings combine the idyll of the Balaton landscape and the beauty of youth with their special atmosphere. In his works, he tried to capture the joys of everyday life and the intimacy of the Hungarian landscape, so his painting is still an important part of the history of Hungarian fine arts.
