Detailed description

László Neogrády (1896–1962) is a significant figure in 20th-century Hungarian landscape painting. His painting combines a love of nature with the influence of impressionism, which is particularly evident in his winter landscapes. In his painting, Nógrády made himself known for the play of light and shadow and for capturing the calm beauty of nature. He often worked in oil on canvas, and his works are dominated by fine details and atmospheric elements. Although the master left behind many outstanding works, in some of his works the details are less elaborate.
